Single model or small series?
If you are interested in commissioning a model ship in a small series, we would be happy to provide you with an individual quotation. We are able to offer a considerably reduced item price in comparison to the prices given in the above price list.

Which documents do you require?
We are able to work with photographs, drawings, plans and 3D / CAD data. At the very minimum we require photos of the ship you wish to commission us to model.

How long are your delivery times?
Our normal delivery time is approximately 3 months. However delivery times depend on the complexity of the model, the number of models commissioned in the case of a small series and the current workload in our workshop. We are happy to provide you with a more precise delivery time upon request.

Can I track the progress of my model while it is being built?
All our model ships are constructed in our workshop on Mauritius. However you can see how the construction of your model ship is progressing long before it is delivered to you. We regularly send our customers images of the current state of construction throughout the entire production process, so they are involved in all phases of their model ship's creation. This also makes it possible to make alterations during the production process, if desired.

Which materials do you use?
In the case of modern sailing and motor yachts, the ship's hull is moulded from fibreglass. In the case of historical ships, we craft the hull from wood following a frame construction technique. Many other materials also come into play depending on the type of ship.
